Become a Member of NVMOM

What does it mean to be a member?

As a member, you have the unique opportunity to be a part of a supportive community with over 50 area moms who can relate to the everyday ups and downs of having mulitples. Not only do you have access to the wealth of knowledge from those whose multiples are older but a safe judgment-free space to voice concerns and have a group of cheerleaders to celebrate your small victories. The great thing is that you get to choose how involved you want to be as a member. If support with Facebook and early access to our tag sale is all you need great! If you are looking to have a kids-free outing we have you covered!

What comes with my membership?

  • General Meetings with focused programming to support all areas of life.

  • Meet and Greets before general meetings

  • Invitation to attend Board Meetings to provide input and club events and structures

  • National and Local chapter newsletter

  • Private Facebook Group to ask questions, share input, and view calendar of monthly events.

  • Support and social gatherings - see our About Us page.

  • Participation and discounts in club fundraising events

  • List of Support Networks for moms at every stage of children's age.

How do I become a member?

The first step is requesting to join NVMOM's private Facebook group! From there our Membership Coordinator will reach out via email or Facebook Messenger. Every new member begins with a full access 3-month trial to attend any NVMOM event or meeting. At the end of your trial period, you can choose to stay on as a member by paying a $30 membership fee for the year.

Why is there a membership fee?

NVMOM is a 501(c) non-profit organization that is a chapter of both national and state organizations. These fees help cover national and state dues, as well as provide members with the opportunity to take part in club events for free or at a reduced cost.

Examples include:

  • Reduced entrance fees to public venues(past venues have included Davis Farmland and Nana's playroom)

  • Free family seasonal club parties (Halloween, Gingerbread building, and Egg Hunt)

What if I am unable to pay the membership fee?

NVMOM's primary goal is to provide support and community, therefore we offer an anonymous scholarship program for MoMs who cannot afford the membership fee. We also have membership options available for MoMs who would like to join the club as their second twins club.
